simple easy homemade family menu plan

Monday

  • Breakfast: weekend leftovers (cinnamon rolls or frozen pancakes, toasted)
  • Lunch: chips & cheese
  • Dinner: leftover cold chicken, broccoli salad

prep for next day: make yogurt

Tuesday

  • Breakfast: Simple Granola with yogurt & berries
  • Lunch: pbj
  • Dinner: grilled chicken, broccoli salad (leftover), grilled red potatoes

prep for next day: pull bread out of freezer, make up lunch boxes during dinner prep

Wednesday

  • Breakfast: toast with peanut butter and homemade jam
  • Lunch: picnic! ham & cheese sandwiches, fresh fruit (ham & cheese salad for myself and berries for the baby)
  • Dinner: tuna waldorf salad

prep for next day: make cookies

Thursday: Fourth of July!

pasta salad

  • Breakfast: pancakes, because then Daddy will make breakfast (with homemade syrup)
  • Lunch: (church potluck picnic) pasta & veggie salad, cookies
  • Dinner: (appetizers during sparklers and small fireworks) popcorn, cheese cubes, veggies

prep for next day: pull muffins & pork from the freezer,

Friday

  • Breakfast: whole wheat cherry muffins (made last week with last year’s dried cherries, from the freezer)
  • Lunch: chips & cheese
  • Dinner: grilled pork, leftover pasta salad

prep for next day:

Saturday

  • Breakfast: pancakes from scratch, made by Daddy, with homemade syrup
  • Lunch: bits and pieces (clean out the fridge)
  • Dinner: grilled hamburgers, salad

Sunday

  • Breakfast: whole wheat cinnamon rolls
  • Lunch: pbj
  • Dinner: artisan bread & cheese & garden veggies

All meals only involve ingredients on my basic master pantry list.
