Another week! My pantry is stocked just fine, but I realized yesterday that I was all out of vegetables except for a couple heads of romaine lettuce. So we’ll be heading out to the store today to restock our veggies. Peppers, zucchini, and carrots all feature strongly in my cooking.

Menu Plan for January 21-26

  • Breakfast: leftover oatmeal (made into porridge with milk)

  • Lunch: flatbread, cheese slices, carrot sticks, apples

  • Dinner: sweet & sour skillet chicken, oven-baked brown rice, green beans

  • Breakfast: eggs w/ muffins

  • Lunch: cheese pizza, apples

  • Dinner: calico beans, glazed carrots, whole grain cornbread


Birthday Day!

  • Breakfast: leftover cornbread
  • Lunch: with friends

  • Dinner: potato soup, salad

  • Breakfast: German pancakes

  • Lunch: oven-baked brown rice w/ peas & carrots

  • Dinner: roasted potatoes, leftover beans, broccoli

  • Breakfast: oatmeal

  • Lunch: cheese pizza, apples

  • Dinner: oven omelette, poppyseed biscuits, broiled zucchini

  • Breakfast: pancakes

  • Lunch: bread & cheese

  • Dinner: baked potatoes & yams


All meals only involve ingredients on my basic master pantry list.
