Another win this week was our Confection Selection pay-by-the-pound bake sale! We raised thousands of dollars for the Pregnancy Network – it was crazy packed with people from the community, and one lady who just came for cookies came to church the next day, too. Last year we raised $6,000 and this year we surpassed that greatly – but the official numbers are not in and I wouldn’t want to say it publicly until our check is in the hands of the Center.

Winter scenes. We had our first snow last week, then this week warmed up and was mostly just windy. Snow never lasts long here, so kids have to get out in it first thing to make sure they get a chance before it’s gone.

Simplified Email is running strong! We have over 900 women learning to get control of their digital mailbox. Some have emailed me with the number (in the 4 and 5 digits!) of emails they’ve moved out of their inbox – it’s crazy!

The email course will be free until Monday, and then it will become part of Work the Plan when it rereleases. :) Hop on in while you can!

Simplified Email is no longer available, but you can find ALL my courses ALL  the time in Simply Convivial Membership!

And I am so excited about Tuesday because I get to talk for an hour with Dawn Hanigan from By Sun and Candlelight and Jennifer Mackintosh from Wildflowers & Marbles all about planning. If you’ve ever seen these ladies’ blogs, you know they have a lot to share about planning! We’ll be talking about goal setting and making those plans really useful in the day to day rather than pieces of paper that sit filed away.

They’ve both been on Pam’s podcasts, too, on episodes you don’t want to miss:

Speaking of Pam’s podcasts, the episode I recorded with her is now live! I cohosted her Q&A about Morning Time podcast and we had a bunch of fun taking live questions!

So, it’s nearing the end of the year and I’m wondering what you would like to see more of or less of in 2016. Now’s your chance to let me know. I’m plotting out what I want to do in 2016, and I’d love to hear your feedback.

  • Learn from gospel-centered homemaking & homeschooling self-paced courses you can navigate on your own terms. Level up your plans and progress, one step at a time.
  • Find a community of likeminded women, working to find what’s important, and do it – every day.
  • Get support through ongoing conversation, discipleship, and prompts to increase your skill and your motivation as we spur one another on to love and good works.
The direction & accountability homemakers need to make noticeable progress in their home management skills.

So glad to hear about the success of the bake sale. And that a lady came to church the next day from it. God is good!

Wowzers! 900 in the email course?! And I saw a link in Crystal Paine’s newsletter this morning, so there will be a little bump coming :)
